All The Small Things.




Riku lay back on his bed and lifted his mobile phone.
He looked at his inbox, left his phone down and walked around his bed room in a circle for the 7th time in an hour.

“dude, he’ll be here soon, just chill out.”
Zexion lifted a tennis ball from under Riku’s bed and began hitting it against the roof.

“yeh….yeh, you’re right. He’ll be here soon, but he was supposed to be here like 10 minutes ago,”
Riku sighed and reached for the tennis ball that almost came down and hit his head “oh my god, speaking of that…why are you still here Zexy? Leave, he’ll be here any minute?!”

Zexion dropped the yellow tennis ball and headed for Riku’s bedroom door.
“I’ll let you….wait then haha. Text me later and let me know how the whole thing goes, kay?”

Riku smiled and, nerves still dancing in his stomach, shut the door behind Zexion.

“oh hey Sora, Riku’s waiting for you upstairs…oh my god haha, how dirty does that sound.”
Zexion smiled, holding the front door open for Sora.

“thanks Zexy”

Zexion turned around and headed towards the footpath.
He pretended he wasn’t aware that Sora had just glanced at his butt but inside he gloated at the fact.

Sora stood outside Riku’s bedroom door.
He flattened the creases on his navy blue shirt with his sweaty palms.
He practiced a quick smile and loosened his belt. it was too tight for him to even breath properly.

A door swung open behind him.

“OH! Hey Riku….I was just about to go into your room, I hope you don’t mind me letting myself in, Zexy told me to…I mean, he told me you were waiting.”

Riku closed the Bathroom door and smiled at Sora.
“yeh, no problem. I was just getting freshened up. I was wondering when you’d get here haha, I was gunna text you but…well…you’re here now!”

Riku stood in front of Sora smiling, his head tilted to one side, drying his hands on his jeans.
He had the sleeves of his orange tshirt rolled up and he wore a red and purple chequered belt.

Sora, pushing the door shut behind him, stared around Riku’s room in fascination.
He had a single bed with lots of green and white pillows and light blue bed covers.
His walls were covered with posters and song lyrics and print outs.
He had a television sitting on a  stand. Under the TV he had an Xbox 360 and another silver games console.
Sora lifted a batman figurine that was sitting on his bedside locker.

“sooo….sorry about my room being a mess.  Oh..that’s my limited edition batman action figure. I have the whole Marvel collection! Wanna see?”

Sora smiled and shook his head.
“I’m not really into action heroes…,”

Spotting one of Riku’s Cds sitting on the bed Sora looked up
“but I do like music! Show me what music you like!”

Sora sat down at the edge of Riku's bed. He looked over at the silver haired teenager, bent down trying to fix his Xbox 360.

"Need any help there, Riku?" Sora smirked as eyes wandered around Riku's bedroom. Riku couldn't understand what was wrong with his Xbox, it just wasn't switching on at all.

"No, I'm fine. I mean, it'll just be a few seconds."

"This really isn't working. Wanna watch a movie instead?" Riku tilted his head and bit his lip. He felt bad for not being able to get the Xbox working.

"Oh yeah! Sure. Whatcha got?" Sora smiled pointing to the DVDs piled high above Riku's bed. Riku lifted a random DVD from the pile.

"EEEEEP!!" Sora squealed when he saw it.

"The Nightmare Before Christmas! ONLY THE BEST MOVIE EVER!"

Riku smiled but inside he was gloating. He had gotten just that little bit closer to winning Sora's heart.

The whole way through the movie, Riku couldn't take his eyes off of Sora. Inside he wanted to lean over and kiss him, but he didn't know if Sora felt the same way. Well...he knew Sora had had a crush on him, but Riku didn't know how to read him. Sora was the first boy he'd liked this much. The other boys were all the same and they really just wanted one thing. He didn't know how to throw hints very well either.

"OHH I LOVE THIS PART!" Sora jumped half-off the bed with excitement. "SALLY, YOU GO GURRRRL!" he shouted in hysterics.

Riku giggled and slapped Sora across the head with a pillow. "Lye down you maniac! haha it's a fricken' movie"

"i know haha i know, but i do LOVEEEE this film."

"ANYWAY..," Riku smiled typically at Sora with a PS3 controller in his right hand. "Wanna play?" he smirked.

"YEH! have you got WiccanCraft 3?" Sora's eyes lit up.

"I sure do!"

The boys played the video game for an hour. Sora kept beating Riku.

"I can't believe this haha, I mean, I knew I was pretty good at WiccanCraft, but not THIS good! Oh Em Gee Riku, I own your ass at this game!" Sora set down his controller and turned to face Riku who was pouting.

"Soooo! lets talk!" Sora smirked and Riku's eyes widened.

Shit! what if he asks awkward questions....i can't lie very well?!  Riku paused and looked up at Sora. "Sure! what do you Wanna talk about?"

"Have you got your eye on anyone?" Sora giggled. He stared intently at Riku who was beginning to blush.

"Maybe? Haha. I mean, the boys around here are really nice but...but...I mean I'm looking for someone funny and cute and...well...," Riku blushed even redder.

"A bit like you really, Sora."
